This is a thread to discuss where one can find varieties of sweet potatoes.
I'll start out with three commercial sources which merit our patronage.
Sandhill Preservation Center has a great selection. Owned and operated by Glenn and Linda Drowns. Many of their varieties are probably in great need of being adopted, for stability's sake.
Duck Creek Farms Owned and operated by Gary Schaum, in Mounds, Oklahoma. Duck Creek Farms may not be offering sweet potato slips for sale, at least for a while. Gary collaborates with Glenn and Linda Drowns (Sandhill Preservation Center). Gary is accomplished in sweet potato breeding. Keep an eye on his website.
Southern Exposure Seed Exchange has a respectable selection of sweet potato varieties, which appears to be growing.
Can you suggest any other sources?
