Lessons Learned from an Heirloom Sweet Potato
This variety is the moistest of any sweet potato variety I have ever encountered. Flesh is orange. Keeps well.
Both the source, from whom I obtained my start, in 1984, and the only other person I've ever spoken to, who knew of this variety, from his own family's history, trace this one back to Georgia. The later said that his grandfather came from Stone Mountain, GA and might have brought it with him, from there.
