I would like to buy both Gunlock and Ginseng Orange sweet potatoes this fall. We have never had good success with purchasing slips of unique varieties for spring planting. We end up receiving about 80% dead to almost dead slips. For years we have grown our own of two old mainstays. The Ol' Henry's slips purchased a few years ago on arrival were again mostly a slimy necrotic mess. I saved two slips if I recall but lost my start last year. If you have others cultivars for our hard southern Missouri soil let me know as well.
